by Dr. Elmo Rodrigopulle LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran who was recently awarded a black belt in Karate by Sensei Bonnie Roberts, Sri Lanka's foremost exponent of the art, has reportedly confided in the latter his wish to build an international stadium in Jaffna where all Sri Lankan sportsmen could display their prowess. Jaffna produced some outstanding sportsmen in the past, chief among them being Nagalingam Ethiriweerasingham who won international laurels. |
