Standardisation - the true picture

The book by TDSA Dissanayake "War or Peace in Sri Lanka?" deals with standardisation and is widely read because of serialisation in the newspapers (Sunday Observer of 29th June 2003). His account, although broadly liberal and sympathetic to Tamil grievances on the subject, makes major departures from the record that tend to promote a chauvinistic description of events.
