Longest WWL Roro vessel call on Colombo Wallenius-Wilhelmsen Line's m.v. "TOBA" AM311 sailed into the port of Colombo for the first time yesterday and berthed at the JCT to uplift RORO Units and containers destined to Masan, Korea. This call is a tribute to the rapidly increasing efficiency and enhanced productivity of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority(SLPA) based on new visionary and progressive thinking and strategies adopted by the SLPA Management, if not for which this vessel would not have called Colombo due to its length overall of 228 metres extending upto 270 metres with the stern-starboard side ramp down, making "TOBA", the vessel with the longest length overall to call Colombo, a company press release stated.
