Dilhara, Russell on trial Fast bowler Dilhara Fernando and batsman Russell Arnold get a chance to play themselves into the Sri Lanka one-day team when they were named in a 14 -member Sri Lanka 'A' squad to play Pakistan in a one-day practice match at the Sara Stadium on May 7. Fernando is recovering from a back injury and Arnold needs to get runs to regain his confidence and earn a recall to the Sri Lanka one-day side after being overlooked for the Sharjah tournament early this month. Arnold will lead the 'A' side which also comprises several other one-day specialists. Pakistan are due to arrive on May 5 to participate in the seven-match one-day triangular series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand which starts on May 10 at Dambulla International Stadium.
