Operating
from a highly technology driven environment, this unique position
suits an individual possessing a Degree or Professional
qualifications in Marketing or associated discipline with a
successful track record of 10-15 years in marketing management in
the Information Communications Technology. Exposure to GSM and SMS supported by technical ability would carry a distinct
advantage.
The
incumbent should be able to provide the clarity of vision to drive
concepts through tight gateways to world class development standards
while initiating and implementing changes to improve business
performance.
Ideally
a hands-on leader who will be responsible for

Developing
and effectively implementing market-focused strategies and new
product development,

Assessing,
developing and where necessary changing fundamental strategies,
approaches and practices so that the business can develop and
grow,

a close working relationship between Marketing and Technology

qualify for this role, you will bring you a proven and successful
track record of 10-15 years in business development from a reputed
environment preferably within the FMCG / consumer marketing sector
backed by professional qualifications or Degree in Business or
Marketing. Significant exposure to the information communications
technology industry and business development in the international
marketing environment is essential.
The
responsibilities of General Manager - Business Development will be
focused mainly on Business Development, where
the key objective will be a evaluate and implement strategies
to achieve long-term growth ambitions through providing and
constantly reviewing value provided to customers.
Key
tasks -

Lead
business strategies while discovering and exploiting new and
productive business relationships

Review
and develop the company's total service offering, ensuring
growth, revenue and profit targets are achieved

Lead
the alnalysis of existing and potential markets, the development
of new products and services and their subsequent launches

Direct
business development activity, providing high profile leadership

consumer needs in the market / industry segments served by the
