Principal lauded for his achieving international honour Batticaloa roving correspondent One should rejoice in the unique achievement of your Alma Mater, Methodist Central College, Batticaloa, which not only gave the nation as many as seventeen Members of Parliament, two Cabinet Ministers, and what is noteworthy is that among the seventeen were Tamils, Muslims and even a Sinhala representative who served in Parliament, said Prince Casinader, President of the Past Pupils Association of the College at the Annual General Meeting held at the Cartman Hall.
