A series of ceremonies will be held islandwide on May 1 to commemorate the 10th death anniversary of late President Ranasinghe Premadasa. UNP media spokesman Gayantha Karunaratne said a number of mobile health clinics, religious ceremonies and rural development programmes are scheduled to be held in commemoration of the late President. The main ceremony will be held at the Premadasa statue at St. Sebastian Hill, Aluthkade. A seven member Ministerial Committee has been appointed to organise the ceremonies. |
