Hans Fernando struck an elegant century (110) with two sixes and fifteen fours as St. Peter's College went on a scoring spree making 340 for 7 in their first innings on the opening day of their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter school cricket tournament match against De Mazenod College played at Kandana yesterday.

Amila a fine performance

A fine all round performance by Amila Madurapperuma helped St. Benedict's College beat Wesley College on the first innings in their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter-school cricket tournament match concluded at Campbell Park yesterday.

St. Benedict's: 197 and 113 for 3 (L. Hattiarachchi 62, S. Illangange 21, A. Madurapperuma 19).

Isipatana had to be content with a first innings win over St. Aloysius College Galle their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter school cricket tournament match at yesterday.

Pubudu 10 wkt haul

Pubudu Nilantha had a matchbag of ten wickets as Revatha MMV after conceding a first innings lead of eight runs came back strongly to beat Ananda Sastralaya Kotte by five wickets in their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter-school cricket tournament match concluded at Balapitiya yesterday.

Skipper Arjuna Rajawasam hit a superb 109 with three sixes and eleven fours as S. Thomas' College reached 283 for 9 in their first innings on the opening day of their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter-school cricket tournament match against Prince of Wales College played at Moratuwa yesterday.

Royal by 3 wkts

Royal College cruised to a three wicket win over St. Anthony's College in their elephant Lemonade trophy schools cricket tournament match concluded at Katugastota, yesterday.

Match winners for Royal were off-spinner Dhanushka Edusuriya match bag of 8 for 61 and skipper Rochana Wijeratne who clobbered an entertaining 81 with 4 sixes and 5 fours.

St. Anthony's 86 all out in 221.1 overs (N. Ratnayake 29, Tryonne de Silva 29, Pradeep Jayaprakash 4 for 48, Danushka Edusuriya 3 for 6, Heshan Morawaka 2 for 6) and 208 all out in 57.4 overs (Tyronne de Silva 71, P.
