Hans Fernando struck an elegant century (110) with two sixes and fifteen fours as St. Peter's College went on a scoring spree making 340 for 7 in their first innings on the opening day of their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter school cricket tournament match against De Mazenod College played at Kandana yesterday.

Amila a fine performance

A fine all round performance by Amila Madurapperuma helped St. Benedict's College beat Wesley College on the first innings in their Elephant Lemonade Cup inter-school cricket tournament match concluded at Campbell Park yesterday.

St. Benedict's: 197 and 113 for 3 (L. Hattiarachchi 62, S. Illangange 21, A. Madurapperuma 19).

Royal College cruised to a three wicket win over St. Anthony's College in their elephant Lemonade trophy schools cricket tournament match concluded at Katugastota, yesterday.

Match winners for Royal were off-spinner Dhanushka Edusuriya match bag of 8 for 61 and skipper Rochana Wijeratne who clobbered an entertaining 81 with 4 sixes and 5 fours.
