Rasika Priyadarshana, captain Ragama CC has been summoned by the Disciplinary Committee of the BCCSL to be present at an inquiry over the statement submitted by Don Anurasiri, Match Referee on an incident that had taken place during a match between Ragama CC and Chilaw Marians CC played at the R. Premadasa Stadium on 19th January, 2003.

The letter summoning Rasika Priyadarshana, sent by Director Cricket Operations, Bandula Warnapura also states that he is "suspended from participating in any tournament conducted by BCCSL pending conclusion of the inquiry. The suspension will be effective from yesterday 23rd January, 2003".

The inquiry has been fixed for Wednesday, 29th January, 2003 at 5.00 p.m. at the BCCSL headquarters.

Two umpires, R. L. Hewa and Gamini Dissanayake, Match Referee, Don Anurasiri have been requested to be present.
