BCCSL strongly condemns adverse comments on Murali The Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka has noted that some adverse comments have been made by former Australian Test Umpire, Lou Rowan on the world class Sri Lanka bowler Muttiah Muralitharan. We find these comments to be in very poor taste. Muralitharan, the third leading wicket-taker in tests and one day internationals, and also named the best ever bowler in test cricket by Wisden, has been accepted as a bowler with a genuine action by all world Cricketing Authorities. The BCCSL strongly condemns the comments made. |
