Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapakse has condemned the alleged attack on Ven. Beragama Wimalabuddhi thera, Assistant Secretary of the National Bhikkhu Front's Hambantota District Committee and Ven. Beragama Gnanananda thera made by a person said to be a relative of a Hambantota District UNP Parliamentarian.

Rajapakse in a press release issued yesterday said he has written to Interior Minister John Amaratunge requesting him to probe this alleged attack and bring the suspects involved into book.
