Lake House paddlers defeated Singer Sri Lanka by 7 matches to 4 in an annual friendly fixtures played at Lake House Recreation Hall last Tuesday. In the singles events out of eight matches Lake House won five while in the doubles Printers Club took two matches to make it 7-4.

Meanwhile the slicers from Lake House came up with a another fine performance on the same day beating Singer slicers seven matches to three.

Lake House teams were captained by D. S. Perera (carrom) and R. A. Wimalasena (table tennis) while the Singers were skippered by D. L. Senaratne (carrom) and B. D. Mendis (TT).
