Pink Salmon back on Lankan plates Imported in canned form by DSP Commodities, St. Andrews Pink Salmon has been reintroduced after a long absence. The product is succulent, chunky, devoid of any "fishy malodour" and very pink. A spokesman for DSP Commodities (Pvt.) Ltd. said that the product was rich in Omega 3 oils which is highly recommended by cardiac physicians as being very effective in the control of cholesterol. The spokesman said that the best chefs in Sri Lanka have sampled the product and were raving about its quality. Its canned form (425 gm) ensures ready availability and long (four year) shelf life and the price enables the inclusion of this delicacy in almost any menu. St. Andrews Pink Salmon is available at all supermarkets and grocery stores. |
