Delmege Shipping handles British Navy support ship

One of the British Defence Ministry's most maneuverable forward support ships, the RFA Diligence called in Colombo earlier this month on a routine visit handled by Delmege Forsyth and Company (Shipping) Ltd., the local agents for British Naval vessels.

The civilian-manned RFA (Royal Fleet Auxiliary) vessel equipped with an advanced Dynamic Positioning system, is normally based in the South Atlantic. The ship is designed to provide a wide range of repair and maintenance requirements, as well as auxiliary electrical power, fuel, fresh water, feed water and sullage reception in her forward support role to Royal Navy ships operating away from home ports.

Delmege Shipping are also agents for Container, bulk, break bulk and passenger vessels calling at Colombo.
