Kandy Cricket Club settled for a draw in their B. Sara Trophy cricket match against their traditional rivals, Kandy Youths Cricket Club which ended in a 'No Decision' at Katugastota on Sunday.

Rain severely curtailed on both days especially in the afternoon and with limited playing time available, Kandy Cricket Club could have applied the closure early to make a match of it and to brighten the proceedings. They batted for 49 overs on the first day before rain and badlight stopped play and scored 130 for 4 wickets.

On the second day they battled for a further 42 overs before they were dismissed shortly after lunch having batted a total of 91 overs and 331 minutes.

Kandy Cricket Club 273 all out in 91 overs 331 mts. (Chathura Wickremanayake 52, Tyronne de Silva 45, Aruna Dange 47, Daminda Kolugala 45, Priyantha Weragoda 2 for 60, Suranga Daluwatte 5 for 70).

Kandy Youths Cricket Club 58 for 1 in 10.1 overs 44 mts. (Muditha Wijekoon 39 not out, M. Nilam 10).
