Xerox records over Rs.20 m in sales in six months

The newly formed XeSol (Pvt) Ltd, an Alliance Group company recorded over Rs.20 million in sales in the first six months of operation, while there are now over 700 machines in the field. The company has been appointed as the sole distributor for the Xerox brand office automation products.

Country Manager Xerox Harish Menon said that the sales figures achieved by the Company were indeed encouraging and it was good to know that Xerox which was a byword among local business circles in the not too distant past, was still a force to be reckoned with.

The launch of the two new Digital Copier cum Printer machines WC - 320, have also evoked interest within business circles, while two more new products are scheduled to be launched in the near future. Xerox will also launch in December, the 6200 series Colour Printers, an A4 laser printer.

Menon said that they were determined to re-establish the Xerox brand as the market leader in Sri Lanka and would soon be expanding their operations to other major towns.

"XeSol and Xerox are determined to be key players in the local copier market and we are making every effort to achieve this goal", Menon said.
