SLMM seeks STF-LTTE dialogue

The Army, Police and the LTTE are working together to reduce tension in Trincomalee, a SLMM Spokesman said. "Army, Police and LTTE officials assured close cooperation to prevent further violence in the town, when the SLMM Chief Gen Furuhovde met them in Trincomalee over the weekend," SLMM Spokesman Teitur Torkelsson told the Daily News.
