News Business Features Editorial Security Politics World Letters Sports Obituaries | SLMC MPs discuss Parliament boycott Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) Parliamentarians yesterday discussed the inner-party dispute over the boycott of Parliament by a group of its MPs. The meeting headed by the SLMC Leader and Port Development, Shipping and Eastern Development Minister Rauf Hakeem and SLMC Chairman and Highways Deputy Minister A.L.M. Athaulla focused on a range of issues including current political situation and party matters, the SLMC said. Another meeting between the SLMC MPs and the two Ministers was scheduled. A SLMC delegation is expected to meet the Prime Minister after this meeting, the SLMC said in a news release. |
