by Rashomi Silva The Ministry of Central Regional Development has completed initial studies on constructing a road from Kobonill to Kandegammedda. Central Region Development Minister Tissa Attanayake said the Ministry intends to complete the construction before the end of this year. The studies have revealed that the project will cost ten million rupees. CEBC will look into the engineering aspect of the project. The Upcountry Rural Rehabilitating and Development authority under the Ministry of Central Regional Development will implement the project under the guidance of the Ministry. Spokesperson for the Ministry said that the road will directly benefit over 10,000 families in seven Grama Niladari divisions. The Minister has assigned the Ududumbara Provincial Council to oversee the constructional work. |
