Cambrian Walk on September 7

The Cambrian Walk 2002 organised by the Prince of Wales College Old Boys Association for the fourth year in succession will be held on September 7, 2002 at 8.00 a.m. commencing from the college grounds. The chief guest will be a distinguished old boy and Mayor of Moratuwa, Ravinath Gunasekera.

Four Cambrians who have represented the country this year in various sports Messrs Hasantha Fernando (Cricket), B. D. N. Fernando (Rugger), Nishantha Fernando (Carrom) and Suranga Fernando (Pistol Shooting) will be the guests-of-honour. In addition Cambrains who have represented the country in sports earlier have also been invited as special guests.

The General Secretary of the OBA, Dilwin Mendis stated that the purpose of this annual walk is to raise funds for the development of sports and other activities of the school and there are twenty four games at school and all the finances are borne by the OBA.
