The Bank of Ceylon (BoC) has introduced several Credit Schemes under the 100-Day Program launched by the Government in order to accelerate the development of the economy in the country.

Loans to purchase motor-cycles is one of the loan schemes.

Under this scheme a maximum loan of Rs. 125,000 can be granted to a government servant within a repayment period of 60 months at a concessionary rate of interest.

The Senior Manager, Bank of Ceylon, Nugegoda S.T. Edirisinghe and the Credit Officer, U.S. Perera organised a ceremony recently to hand over the keys of the motorcycles to the loan recipients at the BoC Nugegoda premises.
