Record-breaking day at CSE

Share prices of the Colombo Stock Exchange have risen again to recorded breaking levels. The All share Price Index reached a staggering 693 yesterday. This represent the highest figure recorded since 28th May 1998. The index was up by 8.4 units.

The Milanka price index also reached the 1,200 limit for the first time. Foreign and local investors helped to achieve this figure.
