BERLIN, June 3 (AFP) German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer will meet his Sri Lankan counterpart Tyronne Fernando Tuesday to discuss bilateral relations and the peace process in Sri Lanka, the foreign ministry here said. The peace accord between the Sri Lankan government and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) was brokered in Norway on February 23. In the last two years, Germany has committed at least 30 million euros (28 million dollars) in aid to Sri Lanka. |
