Eight persons were severely injured when a bomb exploded in front of a house in Randombe in the Ambalangoda Police division. All of them were admitted to the Karapitiya General Hospital, Galle. According to the Police, this incident has taken place in Kanatta of Golagama Road, Randombe, after an heated argument between some members of two families in connection with land dispute. The exploded bomb materials have been sent to Government Analyst for report, the Police says. No arrests have been made. Inspector Pathirana HQI of the Ambalangoda Police is conducting investigations. |
