Husband of Dayangani, father of Chamari, Vindya, Thushara and Duleep, father-in-law of Dushantha and Srijith, brother of Sriya, Ramya, late Abeysekera, Daya, Soma and late Jayantha, expired. Cremation at General Cemetery, Kanatte at 6 p.m. on Monday 22nd No.176, Castle Street, Borella. 

RAJENDRA ­ AKILANAYAKI   Wife of the late T. Rajendra, dearly beloved mother of Sakuntala, Savithiri, Arunthathi (Vancouver), Sunderasen (Seylan Bank), Ravi Rajendra (Canada), Yogendra (Canada), mother-in-law Capt. Yogarajah, Paramanathan, late Dr Canagaratnam, Pushpakanthi, Mehala and Vathsala, passed away peacefully on 17th April. Cremation took place following day according to her wishes. 64/1, Pamankada Road, Colombo 6.

SIVA SUBRAMANIAM - MRS LEELA   - Wife of V.K. Siva Subramaniam (Attorney-at-Law, Badulla), beloved mother of Aravinth (Pricewaterhousecoopers, New York), Anandhi (F.C.C.A, ACMA, California) and Dr Sumathi (Tulane University, USA), mother-in-law of Vijendran (Vanity Fair Corp.), and Shiyami (Attorney-at-Law), sister of Dr A.M. Vedhanayakam (USA), Prof. A.M. Dharmarajan (Australia) and Vimala, sister-inlaw of Chandra and Bawani and grandmother of Janahan, Lakshmi, Arjuna and Radhika, passed away under tragic circumstances in India on April 8th. Last rights and cremation were performed in   Trichy, India. The family invites relatives and friends who wish to pay respects and share in their bereavement to A.F.
