Women's Chamber of Industry and Commerce seminar The Women's Chamber of Industry and Commerce will be organising a half day seminar on "EPF, ETF, Shop and Office Act, Termination of Employment Act" on April 22 at the Employers Federation of Ceylon Auditorium, Rajagiriya. The panel of speakers at the seminar will be Kapila Dissanayake, Assistant Secretary General, EFC who will speak on "Important provisions of the Shop and Office Employees Act", Ravi Pieris, Deputy Director General, ETF "Termination of Employment of Workmen" and Vernon de Rosairo, Assistant Secretary General, ETF "Employees Provident Fund Act and Employees Trust Fund Act". The Women's Chamber of Industry and Commerce is an organisation comprising women in business and management who have come together to promote the special interests of women entrepreneurs and professional women in Sri Lanka. The aim of the organisation is to bring together and promote a close professional and social union among its members, to share their experience and expertise, to provide opportunities by participation in conferences, training programs and trade fairs and to draw in more women into the main stream of business enterprise. The seminar is funded by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and registration for the seminar is free for women entrepreneurs. |
