Leadership training program for A/L students

Galewela Divisional Cultural Center conducted a leadership training program for the Advanced Level students who are not qualified to enter the universities, under the '100 day' program of the Ministry of Human Resources, Cultural and Education Ministry. An inter-Dhamma schools short and art competition were also held.

Bulanawewa Sri Gnanarathana Dhamma school secured first place in the drama competition for its short drama titled 'If we are United'. 'Unity in the Village' the drama presented by Hewanewela Sri Dewarakkhitha Dhamma School was the runner-up.

Chaminda Dinesh of Palapathwela Dhamma school was adjudged the Best Artist in the art competition. Nalaka Abeywardhane of Nilagama Dhamma school was the runner-up.

Ven. Herathgama Dhammarama Thera and Ven. Millawane Chandawimala Thera, heads of Dembawa and Gerandigala ancient temples, Galewela Divisional Secretary Rajith Rathnayake and Galewela primary school principal Palitha Bandaranayake the special invitees present gave away the prizes and certificates.
