Beloved husband of Lily Margret Fernando (Retired Teacher), father of Sarath (Revenue Inspector, Narammala Pradeshiya Sabawa), Srineil (DGM - C.E.B. Laxapana Complex), Srinath (Assistant Engineer, Metropolitan Agencies), Sripathi (Engineer, Sri Lanka Telecom) and Srija (Teacher, Christ King College, Tudella), father-in-law of Gnana, Dr. Chitra (Teaching Hospital, Peradeniya), Preethi (Teacher, St.Mary’s, Bandarawatte) and Shamalka (Accountant - Victoria Apparels), expired. Cortege leaves residence on Saturday 6th April at 4 p.m. for Interment at Dehiyagatha Roman Catholic Cemetery.   “Sri Niwasa”, Dehiyagatha, Ja-Ela. 

RASIAH - MRS GRACE THEVARATNAM   Wife of late D.V. Rasiah, sister of A.V. Selvaratnam, mother of Rajadurai, Pushpamany, Rangithamany, Lankadurai, Devasagayam, Paramasagayam, Pooranasagayam, Jeevasagayam, Yogasayagam, mother-in-law of Gnanamalar, Selvaratnam, Gunaratnam, Santhamalar, Ponmalar, Packiyam, Chandra, late Jegatheswary, Jeyavathany, expired on Wednesday 3rd April. Funeral took place at   Katcovalam Point Pedro on Thursday 4th April.  

CHELLAPPAH RAMACHANDRAN   Retired Superintendent of Audit, Formerly of Thinnavely, Jaffna and presently of   40, St Benedicts Mawatha, Kotahena. Beloved husband of Mangaleswary, father of Janarthanan (Canada), Giritharan (UK) and Muralitharan (UK), father-in-law of Rohini (Canada), Ananthi (UK) and Mathini (UK), grandfather of Vishnuvarthan, Rishivarthan, Hariharan and Nithiya, expired on 02-04-2002. Funeral will take place on Saturday 6th April 2002 and Cortege will leave for cremation at Madampitiya Cemetery at 10.00 a.m. 

JAYASINGHE - DR. L.D.K.   Husband of late Gladys, father of Asoka, father-in-law of Inranee, uncle of Wasantha, grandfather of Thivanka and Ruvantha, expired. Cremation at Borella Kanatta on 6th Saturday at 1 p.m.   No. 8, Greenlands Avenue, Colombo 5. No flowers by request. 

SENEVIRATNE - LAKSHMAN (Lucky)   Beloved husband of Mangalika (Nitches (Pvt) Ltd.), loving father of Saliya (Student of De Mazenod College), brother of Rohini, Lilani, Nimmi & Christo, brother-in-law of late Stanley, Mervyn, Jayantha (Advantage), Melanie, late Padma, Shirley, late Anesley, Kanthi, Nihal, Kusum & Sriya. Cortege leaving residence at 4.00 p.m. Saturday the 6th   7B/53R, Raddolugama Housing Scheme. 

WAAS - WARNAKULASURIYA ANTHONY NIHAL   Loving son of the late Justin Waas and Pauline Waas, beloved husband of Priyani Waas, Teacher - Holy Family Pre-school, loving father of Priyal, Dilini (ITTI) and Dina, loving brother of Joy Waas (USA) and Renuka Mendis (Anca Travels), brother-in-law of Gamini Waas (USA) and Dilraj Mendis (Eveready Lanka), Uncle of Sharmila, Shalini and Dilina, expired.
