by Wadduwa special correspondent Twelve housing projects will be set up in Beruwala divisional secretariat division under the guidance of Imithiaz Barkeer Markar the Minister of Mass Communication. The Minister said that already a Bhikkhu has donated ten lakhs of rupees and a Private Telecommunication Institute has also donated fourteen lakhs of rupees to commence the housing project. The main objective of the project is to reduce the housing shortage in the Beruwala electorate as there is a dense population in the electorate. The Housing projects will be set up at Mirappakanda, Sehalakanda, Munamalwatta, Udumullagahawatta, Millakandawatta, Bubulandagama, Narigalwatta and several other villages. He also stated that there is an acute shortage of houses in Beruwala electorate. |
