UNF Govt left with empty coffer

He was addressing a meeting at Thenagama public market premises. The PA stalwarts tried to capture votes during the last general elections by violence, thuggery and terrorism. But people brought the UNF to power after experiencing the activities of both the parties individually.

The Deputy Minister of Health Sajith Premadasa said at Lunugamwehera that he goes to the doorsteps of the people before they come to him.

He was addressing a meeting at Thenagama public market premises. The PA stalwarts tried to capture votes during the last general elections by violence, thuggery and terrorism. But people brought the UNF to power after experiencing the activities of both the parties individually.

Hambantota district MP Dilip Veda Arachchi said that UNF Government got a Treasury which was empty. It was emptied as a result of maladministration and mismanagement. We have been left with a legacy of empty coffers, but the UNF will find funds and launch development projects for the benefit of the masses.

A former UNP Health Minister Ranjith Atapattu said it was only after developing sanitary conditions of people, a healthy nation could be created. The masses should be made healthy, wealthy and wise.

Deputy Minister also donated medicinal instruments and appliances to the Thenagama rural hospital.
