The Dulux special award for the Creative Person was won by Creative Director of Lintas, N. Padmakumar. Grant Mc Cann Erickson also won several special awards including the award for prestigious campaign of the year. The SLIM annual awards organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) in collaboration with the Accredited Advertising Agencies Association (Four As) is aimed at developing, recognising and rewarding individuals and organisations who have developed advertising of true excellence, which in turn spurs Sri Lanka's advertising industry to further heights. The theme of this year's awards - 'discover the good side of the bad times' was prompted by the economic setbacks of the previous year, the organisers said. The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd (ANCL) was the co-partner in the event. |
