Cricket-Lara misses Sharjah series against Pakistan ST JOHN'S, Wednesday (Reuters) Former West Indies captain Brian Lara, who fractured his elbow last month, will not play in a two-test series against Pakistan in Sharjah. The West Indies Cricket Board announced on Tuesday a 15-strong squad for the series between January 27 and February 18, led by Carl Hooper. Lara suffered a hairline fracture of his left elbow in a one-day tournament in Sri Lanka in mid-December and was expected to be out for six weeks.
