Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe held discussions with the Government Agent of Vavuniya yesterday on humanitarian measures that could be taken for the convenience of Wanni civilians, a UNP Media release said. They discussed the hardships faced by Wanni residents in their day-to-day lives and possible ways of minimising such difficulties. Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Refugee Affairs Minister Dr. Jayalath Jayawardana and Prime Minister's Secretary Bradman Weerakoon also joined the discussion. |
