Results of the Parliamentary election 2001 have once again proved that People in Sri Lanka need peace. The victory of the United National Front, in spite of the venomous chauvinistic campaign by the Peoples'Alliance and the ambiguity of the UNF program on ethnic issue, signifies that voters in the South want peace, although peace-making involves some risk.
