Late President J. R. Jayewardene was one of the best leaders we ever had since independence. With the help of late Lalith Athulathmudali, he led the forces and wiped off the existence of Prabhakaran and his clan from Wanni from rest of the Eastern Province. Then our forces jubilantly marched up to Vadamarachchi in the Jaffna Peninsula, removing and destroying all what Prabhakaran had and then turned the guns towards Jaffna.

Unfortunately India intervened and prevented our forces going any further. J. R. Jayewardene made use of that opportunity and got down Indian Peace Keeping Force for the same purpose. There were several reasons, behind this remarkable and bold decision. Our country was saving billions and billions in foreign exchange, because at that time there were no bloodsuckers that had any interest in making huge commissions on weapons deals.

Then the precious lives of our Sinhalese youth could be saved, because it is said that Sinhalese race is listed as one of the vanishing races in the world. Further too many soldiers and a large Army could be a threat to the existence of democracy of a country.

Thereafter deserters from forces could be a problem for peace loving citizens of this country. Our forces can provide adequate security to all parts of the rest of the country. Now we have a similar, rare opportunity.

There are more than 3,000 US marines stationed in the Indian Ocean seeking hotel facilities. There are several huge warships anchored in the Indian Ocean seeking bunkering facilities. So, bunkering facilities are available at Trincomalee Harbour, and there are many hotels that are on the verge of collapse, and there are many in the handcraft sector and other similar sectors that depend on tourism waiting anxiously for the arrival of tourists.

Therefore, I think this is a wonderful opportunity to say "Come America" use the facilities available here, and in return help us to annihilate the existence of terrorism in this beautiful country, though you helped them in earlier days, and bestowall peace loving innocent people an opportunity, who live in North, South, East and West to get-together as in good olden days.
