Bohra Premier League on September 8 and 9

The Bohra Premier League 2012 (BPL), organized by the Bohra Sports Club for the third consecutive year, will be held on September 8 and 9 at the Bloomfield Grounds.

Based on the format of the fast paced Indian Premier League, the BPL organizers lead by President Hatim Akberally and Project chairman Murtaza Zakirhusain promise to bring the same kind of excitement and glamour and team spirit to cricket within a community.

The teams are owned by dynamic business entities in the Bohra community.

The teams that will battle it out in the tournament are ALS Warriors (captained by Mustafa Hassanally Jeewajee), Avalon Eagles (captained by Juzer Noordeen), Ekco Trio (captained by Hussain Mansoor), KD Challengers (captained by Huzefa Hussain), Royal Stallions (captained by Ali Asgar Abdeali) and Super Kings (captained by Shabbir Mohammed Hussain).
