NTB launches Nations Business First
Nations Trust Bank (NTB) PLC launched an exclusive package Nations
Business First, designed to help businesses handle their banking
conveniently and efficiently.
The package is bundled with cost savings and fee waivers and aims to
save the time of businessmen so that they can manage their business
better.

Keshini Jayawardena said, “Nations Business First is an exclusive
banking package designed to help businesses handle their banking
conveniently and efficiently thus giving businessmen more time to focus
on their business or to have more quality leisure time.
Most small businesses are run by a few owners of the business who
have to do everything in the business themselves, like marketing,
finance and customer care.
“The idea is to take some of the hassle of banking and financial
services off these busy businessmen and this save them time and money,”
she said.
The Business First proposition available in three categories. The
Platinum category is dedicated for business current accounts maintaining
an average account balance of Rs.5Million.
The Gold option is available for balances between Rs.500,000 and
4,999,999, while the Silver Option is available for an average account
balance between Rs.50, 000 and 499,999.
Jayawardena said, “Nations Business First comes with attractive cost
savings and fee waivers , which will improve their business bottom line
as well.
The three categories of Nations Business First membership - Platinum,
Gold and Silver offer varying degrees of benefits based on average
current account balances.
Amongst the benefits we offer are dedicated relationship managers to
provide financial planning and advice to execute all your banking
requirements.
Other services include cash collection, post-dated cheque management
and payroll services and a range of deposit and investment products. In
terms of facilities we offer leasing, factoring, trade services and
overdrafts with fast approval times.”
She said that the new centre will offer the Bank’s customers an
exclusive and comfortable banking environment whilst the Bank’s
Relationship Managers are also situated right through the branch
network.
The account may also be accessed through the Bank Call centre or
through automated channels such as Internet or SMS banking. She also
commented on the hallmark 365 day banking service offered by Nations
Trust Bank with extended banking hours at the 37 branches and 11 leasing
centres and six personal banking centres located island wide.
Harcourts opens 15th branch
The Harcourts Super Drugs Chain opened its 15 branch at Castle
Street, Colombo 8 recently.
The Branch was inaugurated by the Consultant Physician and
Nephrologist who is the current President of SLMA and Director of Post
Graduate Institute of Medicine, Professor Rezvi Sheriff.
Chairman of Harcourts, Ahamed Rheyas, Mrs. Hidaya Rheyas, CEO of
Harcourts Super Drugs, Harees Farouk, Directors and Senior Managers were
also present. The branch is equipped with high-speed computerized
billing facilities and will be provided with the specialized loyalty
cards of Harcourts Super Drugs such as the gold card and the platinum
card.
Sampath in Embuldeniya
Sampath Bank reached another milestone in expanding their network by
opening their latest branch in Embuldeniya recently.
The new branch is the 114th of Sampath’s electronically linked
island-wide branch network that offers accessibility to the banking
facilities from anywhere in the country.
