Applications close for Grade 1 admissions

COLOMBO: Applications for 2008 Grade one school admissions closed on September 21, Education Ministry sources said.

Instructions relating to admissions have already been issued to all Provincial Directors of the Education and they should take all steps to comply with the regulations in connection with the Grade 1 admission for 2008 which will begin in the first week of October.

The Ministry will issue the new circular relating to admission of Grade 1 for 2008 to the authorities within this week.
