Thalangama Police help dengue fight

Thalangama Police will launch a dengue eradication campaign. Deputy Inspector General of Police Sumith Edirisinghe said Senior DIG Anura Senanayake is organizing the campaign assisted by Senior SP Divisional ASP Kamal Paliskara and Thalangama Police OIC Inspector Upul Perera.

DIG Edirisingha said Defence Secretary Gatabhaya Rajapaksa is also keen on organizing the campaign to wipe out the dengue menace.

Inspector Upul Perera said they have organized this campaign among schools in the area.

Public Health Inspectors are assisting Police.
