Meewelpitiya tank breached

The Meewelpitiya tank bund in Laggala has been damaged for a long time causing difficulties to farmers.

Over 200 acres of paddy land are abandoned as a result. Over 100 farmer families are affected.

They request the government to take immediate action to renovate the tank.
