AIA customers' children receive laptops

AIA Insurance (earlier known as AVIVA NDB Insurance) presented laptops in stylish cases to 100 lucky children of policyholders, winners of 'Rewards for Life' offer designed to appreciate and acknowledge customer loyalty, at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel recently.

A laptop winner with his parents, Chief Guest Gordon Watson and CEO Shah Rouf.

Applications received this year were more than double the number in the previous year and the lucky draw to select the winners was held in March.

Those who were invited to participate in the event eagerly flocked to the venue with their parents to receive the laptop that would undoubtedly enrich their lives helping them to progress in their chosen profession.

Some came from remote areas of the country. When they returned home they not only each had a laptop but also a beautiful memento of the occasion that the whole family would cherish.

The Chief Guest at the occasion was Gordon Watson, the Regional Chief Executive of AIA Group. Shah Rouf, Managing Director of AIA Sri Lanka who was also present congratulated the 100 winners and said "Your presence with your parents at this event clearly shows how important it is for young people of today to be technically advanced.

AIA is delighted to contribute to your pathway to progress by giving you a laptop that will no doubt prove to be an important stepping stone to a bright future."

AIA Insurance launched 'Rewards for Life' scheme to acknowledge and reward customers who have been loyal to the Company for over 3 years. An important prerequisite was that the policyholder should have a child aged between 14-22 years to be eligible to participate in vying for a laptop.

The Company received thousands of applications for laptops from eager policyholders who were concerned about the future of their children.
