Eight Athletes for Ukraine

Sri Lanka will be sending 10 member contingent(eight athletes and two officials) for the eightth IAAF World Youth Athletic Championship which will be worked off at Donetsk, Ukraine. The boys will be Arosha Kariyawasam(100m), D.K.N.N. Sachinthana (100m/200m), A.A.Samith Lakmal(200m), W.M.H.M.Weerasinghe(2000m steeple chase) and W.B.M.Samaraweera(2000m steeple chase). The girls will be R.M.R.K.Rathnayake(200m),P.G.Madushika(200m/400m), S.G.M.K.Weerasinghe(2000m steeple chase). They will be accompanied by two officials Susantha Fernando(Manager) and Roshini Bowatta (Lady Chaperon).
