Offering of specialist medical opinion, advice and treatment after
successful diagnostic investigations by way of providing Specialist
Channel Consultation Service to the ailing community is the rationale of
the proactive entrepreneur Don Roshan Kanangara of Kalubowila.
DR Medicare Channelling Centre is housed at Edward Place, Sunandarama
Road, Kalubowila, Dehiwala.
Its Director G L Wijesinghe who has over three decades of service in
the Administrative Service of the Health Department elaborated on the
working of the Centre, highlighting the facilities and the services
available. Initially the Centre would be providing Channel Consultation
Service.
The Centre is fully equipped with Laboratory, OPD and a Physiotherapy
Unit.
A separate diabetic clinic and an acupuncture unit would be opened
soon. Service at the Channelling Centre will be from 7 am to 8 pm daily. |
