Road development expedited

Hakmana Pradeshiya Sabha will expedite road development activities in the division.

Under these projects Lalpe-Pahalawatte, Kongala -Vijaya Mawata, Lalpe-Yatigalawatte, Udupeellegoda-Madagodawatte, Lalpe-SamadiMawata, Udupeelledoga road and the Udupeellegoda cross road are included in this extensive road development drive.

Reconstruction and rehabilitation activities relating to these projects will commence soon. The total cost is Rs.16 million. The central government funds the project.

The rapid improvement of socio-economic conditions of the residents in these areas through these development activities would be the aim of the Sabha, Hakmana Pradeshiya Sabha chairman C. H. Halpage said.
