Programmes for unemployed

The Career Guidance Unit of the Matara District Secretariat has launched programmes to direct unemployed young and school leavers towards employment avenues.

Under the programme job markets will be conducted at Divisional Secretariat Division level in the Matara district.

According to Head of the Career Guidance Unit Matara District Secretariat Palitha Padmasiri arrangements were finalized to conduct two such job markets in the Divisional Secretariat Offices at Thihagoda and Kotapola on July 5. Leading business men and heads of private sector business establishments in the Matara district will also be present.

Unemployed men, women, school leavers and job aspirants interested are requested to be present at these interviews with their bio data applications.
