Volleyball for Tharaka Balasuriya Challenge Trophy

The finals of the League Volleyball Championship for the Tharaka Balasuriya Challenge Trophy will be held at the Hungampola Maha Vidyalaya grounds from 9.00 am today. There will be eight mens’ teams and four womens’ teams in action today and the finals will start at 7.00 p.m.

Kegalle District Volleyball Association secretary Tharaka Balasuriya has invited Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation vice president Kanchana Jayarathna, Kegalle District Volleyball Association President and Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya and Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka A Natarajan to participate in the event as special guests while SLVF Chairman and Foreign Employment and Tourist Welfare and Promotion Minister Dilan Perera will also grace the occasion as a special guest.
