HNB Assurance pays tribute to veteran Artists

HNB Assurance has stepped forward to honour five legendary singers for their outstanding commitment to the music world. These veteran artists have spent their whole lives composing and singing famous songs that are still vibrating in the minds of all Sri Lankans. Ivor Denis, HarunLanthra, Paul Fernando, Irene De Alwis and Suryakumar Muthalage are the five artists who were honoured for their lifetime's service to the music industry, at HNB Assurance's 8th Annual Sales Convention held recently. Most of these renowned Singers and Music Composers have won Presidential Awards and many of their songs still remain among the best loved in the Sri Lankan music industry.

Managing Director of HNB Assurance, Manjula de Silva stated "It is a privilege for HNB Assurance toreward five legendary musical icons of yesteryear currently facing difficult circumstances. These artists have committed their lives for the uplifting of music. Their hard work and dedication towards the music industry should be recognized and as a token of appreciation we have rewarded them with aspecial souvenir and a cash prize. HNB Assurance has also offered these artists and their spouses free customized health insurance policies to help them at their times of need". HNB Assurance recently won an International Global award for Brand excellence at the World Brand Congress and was recognized with five national and regional awards for the company's Annual report.
