Scan Products sales convention ends on high note
The top level performances of the sales force of Scan Products
Division of C W Mackie PLC - in 2012/13 were recognized at a ceremony
held at the Club Palm Bay Hotel Marawila, recently.

Congratulating the winners, the chief guest at the Awards ceremony
-Chairman/CEO, C W Mackie PLC, W.T. Ellawala assured that just as much
as the current performers are being recognized, the performers wouldl
continue to be recognized in the years to come. This year's top
performers received cash rewards, trophies and certificates. The Best
Sales Representative Gold Award was won by Company Sales Representative,
Lalin Sandanayaka.
The Annual Sales Conference was coupled with a two-day residential
programme. On the first day, well known motivational trainer/prominent
Dr.Neomal Balasuriya, conducted a motivational training programme and at
the end of which Scan Star Awards was held to recognize the sales
performance of 2012/13 financial year. The presentation of the Annual
Business Plan of Scan Products Division to Group Chairman/CEO by the
Executive Director, Internal Trading Mangala Perera also took place. The
Executive Director was confident of achieving the planned budgets for
the year 2013/14together with his senior executives and rest of the
team.
On the second day, the theme for 2013/14 financial year, "Challenge
Yourself" was unveiled. It was a call to the sales force to "Focus,
Perform and to achieve Success" by contributing towards the growth of
the company"
Scan Products Division has achieved a name in Sri Lankan households
as a distributor of renowned international and local brands such as
Sunquick, Ovaltine, Star Brand Essence and Colouring, Scan Bottled
Drinking Water, Scan Jumbo Peanuts, Kotagala Kahata, N-Joy , Scan Jack
Mackerel to name a few.
The division's hybrid vertical sales and marketing structure and
channel distribution strategy is supported by four different service
networks such as the Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, Wholesale &
Institutional Trade and the Food Service Sector.
