The Bhakthi Gee recital

The Nandarama Tamil Buddhist Dhamma school students in Jaffna
presented a Vesak Bakthi Gee recital for the first time in Jaffna at the
Yapa Patunai Daham Amavai Vesak festival held from May 24 to May 26 in
the area around the Jaffna Public Library.
They sang Bakthi Gee in Sinhala and Tamil.
Tamil Buddhists Association and Nandarama Tamil Buddhist Dhamma
school President Ravi Kumar said the students were awarded gifts by
Jaffna Security Forces Commander Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe.
He added that the students were invited by two television channels to
perform after listening to their recital.
He also said the Dhamma School was established recently by Ven
Meegahajandure Sirivimala thera of Sri Naga Vihara.
