'Book sellers' up to no good

Four persons who had snatched gold chains pretending to selling books were apprehended by the Crimes Investigations Unit of Mirihana Police on Wednesday.

The main suspect was arrested opposite the Fort Railway Station while selling books and the other three were arrested in Nugegoda, the Police said.

Investigations revealed had been involved in snatching gold chains in nine occasions in Wijeyarama, Jampugasmulla and Nugegoda.
